When
donations received cover the
portion
of a
dog's treatment that MBF
has agreed to raise, the dog moves to the "All Funds Raised" page.
When you
donate, you will receive a thank you note from MBF
by email or by
mail. Your contribution will be acknowledged on the Contributor's
page under the dog's name, until
the

Bullet Fund is a program of the non-profit
Perseus Foundation. Donations are tax deductible.
Funds that are donated for but cannot be used for a specific dog are
redistributed to other MBF dogs in treatment. Redistribution occurs if
treatment fails, or if the
family fails to comply with MBF policies. MBF funds are never used for past due medical fees, treatment
other than for cancer, palliative care or euthanasia.

From
Kathy and George,
He
is such a
good
loving gentle boy. A
couple weeks before Christmas I noticed that I could feel his nodes by
his
throat. We
took him
to the vet immediately and learned that he did indeed have
lymphoma. Our vet said that without
treatment he
might have a couple months. We love him so very much and he has such a
big
heart. We
just cannot imagine our lives without him there beside us. Knowing that there is something
that could put him in remission but not being able to pay for it is
torture. We
were so heartbroken for Rusty. I found the Magic Bullet Fund and
applied. I
could not believe that we were accepted!! Rusty will get the chance
to
beat this awful disease with their
help! We cannot express how thankful and relieved we are, at being able
to
offer him a chance with MBF assistance. Thank
you all so much! |
