Hello my
name is Trouble. I'm a 5-year-old, female
Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I was diagnosed with lymphosarcoma in November of
2005.
My loyal owners Bob and Caroline have given all they could to keep me
healthy
and happy.
I was scheduled for my last chemo
treatment June 5th (today). Unfortunately I
came out of remission last week and I need to start a rescue protocol
now. My
owners do not have the funds to do this. I need to be with my companion
Buster.
I need to get to the beach and run in the sand. I need to sleep on
Bob’s feet to keep him warm in the winter. I need to
be a part of this family! Please help me if you can.
Gratefully, Trouble (AND Bob, Caroline and Buster)

Trouble
is looking very good after her treatment and her lymph nodes have all
but
disappeared. The first couple of days were rough but she bounced right
back.
She had a lot of dog friends over this weekend - they romped and played
all
over the yard and house. Trouble was in her glory, trying to herd two
larger
Pit Bulls, a Cocker Spaniel, a large Chocolate Lab and our other Corgi,
Buster.
Her white blood cell count is down and the vet put her on antibiotics
(Zeniquin). She has a new lease on life now, thanks to all of you
generous
people out there. Thanks again!

Trouble
responded very well to her last round of chemo. She is happy and
playful.
Another weekend of dog house guests. Trouble will be getting her next
round of
chemo in two weeks. I only hope it goes as well as last time.
I send my
deepest THANK YOUs to all of you who have made some quality time with
my heartdog possible.

Trouble
continues to do well on lomustine. She will have her next treatment on
Thursday. I expect her to be slow for a couple of days. Then I can only
hope
she returns to the great spirited little dog she is right now.
Thank you for
all your help!

Trouble
has been responding very well to this treatment. She is very happy to
be with
us. This little dog has the biggest heart in the world. She sends love
to all
that have helped her and everybody that has sent good thoughts. This
little
ball of fur means the world to me. I can't imagine what life without
her will
be like. VERY LONELY I guess. Please help Trouble in any way you can
Thank you once
again,

Trouble
has had her second dose of CEENU. It took a week before the side
effects caught
up to her. Her blood test came back with all counts low. We started
antibiotics
and she has seemed to come out of the side effect slump. She is looking
good
but far from out of the woods.

Your
wish came true; Troubles' blood test came back
perfect. The vet is amazed at her turn around. She is doing really
well. THANK
YOU for giving me this extra time with her. I'm so glad she is having a
good
time. After all that's what this is all about. Quality of life -
Trouble has
not been this good since last November.
Thank
You again.

Trouble's
nodes started to swell again last Thursday. We gave her a shot of
L-spar and
doubled her prednisone to 10 mg a day. She took her last dose of CEENU
yesterday. I feel my time with her is slipping away fast. I WILL NOT
LET HER
SUFFER. The love I have for this dog stands taller than Mt. Everest.
Thank you all once
again for giving me some real quality time with my baby
girl.

Trouble
responded well to the L-spar along with the last dose of CEENU. We took
her to
the beaches of Cape May. I wanted to get some
pictures of her on the beach I spent my childhood vacations on.
Here she
is, with her brother Buster
in the foreground.

Trouble
has fallen very ill with a bone marrow problem due to Ceenu and L spar.
They
dropped her platelet count to dangerous levels, leading to bruising and
bleeding of her underside. After much care cleaning and antibiotics,
she seems
to be healing. Her blood test came back showing her platelet
count back up, white count back to normal and red count a little low
due to the
platelet production of her bone marrow. Things are better than they
were; however, we are not out of the woods just yet.
Hoping to continue in
this direction...

Trouble
continues to amaze all. She is a fighter. She is not ready to leave us
and she
would tell you all about it, if she could speak English. What a tuff
cookie. I
think it is the love bond between us holding her here. Her job is not
done yet
and she really wants to finish it.
Thanks for all you
have done,
Bob, Caroline, Buster
and Trouble

Trouble
passed away September 16th 2006 at approximately 1:00pm. She was alone,
my neighbor
found her. It was the first time we left her since she has been ill.
Thank you
all who have given me the best gift I could ever ask for - additional
time with my babydog. Words alone can not
describe how I feel. The Magic Bullet Fund has given me a good long
time to say
I LOVE YOU. Thank you all.

and Angel Trouble
I will continue to put the word out about the organization.
I will be a part
of it for life.....it is the least I could do. I will donate when I can
forever. THANK YOU!

I just
got to the pound in time today. I was told of an overweight 4 year old
Pembroke
Corgi. Scheduled to be put down tomorrow AM - I snatched her up. She
needs a
forever home. She will stay here until that time. The lady who owned
her became ill; herdaughter-in-law
took the dog, but works two jobs and could no
longer care for the dog. She seems like a really sweet girl. Gets along
great with our two, Buster and Misty

We have decided to keep Cooper. She is fitting in perfectly
here. All three get along great and she really, really likes Caroline,
my wife. Her nails are trimmed, she is on meds for her skin condition
and a
strict diet. She is so sweet and to think she would have been put down
last
Sunday. (WOW) Everybody run out and rescue a pooch!
