FROM JENNIFER:
As a devoted animal lover, I have two dogs
(Rookie and Axel), and a
thousand more animal companions around South Florida. I always wanted
to own a farm large enough to take in stray, abandoned dogs simply to
keep them all to myself. Unfortunately, I am limited by
funds. As a fitness enthusiast with a strong business background
I recently opened my own personal training studio. I invested
every cent I had into my business not expecting any tragedies. When I
learned my 8-year-old beagle, Rookie, had lymphoma I was
devastated. I knew I didn’t have the funds to get
Rookie treatment but after a few days of relentless research I found
the Magic Bullet Fund. They have helped me out, not only
monetarily, but spiritually and mentally as well. I know I am
very close to reaching financial independence and I plan on giving
every cent back to the Magic Bullet Fund, plus…!
FROM ROOKIE, March
6, 2007:
Hi, I’m
Rookie! I’m
an 8 year old beagle that was born in New Jersey
and raised in South Florida. I was
born a slave to my nose. My most favorite thing in this world is
food. My other favorite things in the world are burying bones in
corners, tennis balls, tormenting my brothers and sisters, cuddling
under the blankets, basking in the Florida sun, and did I mention more
food! I am very well behaved. I do exactly what my mom tells me to do.
I especially like when she asks for ‘high fives’ because I know I’m
going to get a treat. Right now the chemo treatments aren’t that
bad. I seem to be dealing with them successfully without any side
effects. I can’t wait until all this is over so I can get back to my
normal way of life.
Thank you Magic
Bullet Fund. I have a lot more life in me and I couldn’t do it without
you guys!
