SPARTICUS

Regal is a Doberman Pinscher with lymphoma. She was the very first dog to be accepted into the Magic Bullet Fund, on November 20, 2005. Regal had the Madison-Wisconsin chemotherapy protocol and was in remission for 7 months. On August 21, 2006, Regal came out of remission and underwent 9 weeks of re-induction chemotherapy.

CLOVIS
Clovis is a femial Great Dane/Lab mix who was diagnosed with cancer of the month in June, 2006. On July 18, 2006, Clovis was officially dianosed with multilobular osteosarcoma. Clovis will most likely need radiation therapy treatments, scheduled to begin in November 2006. At present, she is running 5-6 miles every day, and doing well.

EMMA
Emma was brought to the United States from Africa by Jara, who adopted her and her brother Petri while in the Peace Corps.  Emma was diagnosed with lymphoma on Christmas Eve, 2005. She underwent chemothearpy, and has now been in remission for nearly a year. Emma is doing great with perfect quality of life and Jara is completing medical school, very happy to have her wonderful girl by her side.

POTSY
Matt Pierce found a large tumor in the roof of his dog Potsy's mouth in November 2005. The diagnosis was melanoma. Matt wrote to the fund, "I love Potsy so much and want to help him so much and it's killing me. If you can help me it would be a miracle." In January, Pot's tumor was debulked, followed by 6 weekly radiation treatments. Pot's has been enjoying life after cancer.  "The Pot's," says Matt, "loves being a dog!"
