Congratulations Tensing!

Fron Karen, Tensing's mom:
My precious boy Tensing was diagnosed with lymphoma on December 19, 2006. He had the Madison Wisconsin protocol and when he was found to be in remission, his treatments were stopped. But Tensing came out of remission and new tumors appeared on his lips. We then completed the protocol.

The night of July 20, 2002. I went to "Jadi Sled Dogs Siberian Husky Rescue," to find out about fostering a dog. There, owner Teresa introduced me to 18-month-old Tensing. She warned me that if you put your hand out to touch him, he would bolt. He had been abused and was severly underweight as well. We had talked about him being a foster dog with me, but it was love at first sight and Tensing was immediately adopted into our family. Teresa broke into tears, knowing that Tensing had found his forever home.
Tensing played with other dogs beyond hard or fair, so I taught him that because he is now in a loving, caring and giving home, he doesn't need to do that! Tensing quickly learned that his rude antics would not work anymore to get attention.
Tensing thrived and became a very loving and giving dog.
He has been in our family for over 5 years now -- I cannot imagine not waking up every morning to see those deep blue eyes, smile and Husky talk.
When I found out that Tensing had lymphoma, I went to the Internet and researched. If I did not treat Tensing's cancer I would not have him past 8 years old. So I dug deep and found a way to get him through treatment. Tensing has been amazing through this journey that we are on. He has shown me such will, courage, determination and Sibe defiance toward his cancer. Tensing inspires me every day and I live by Laurie Kaplan's mantra:

"Not Today and Not Without a Fight!"

I paid for that first round of chemo and surgery to remove his initial tumor (on his lip) and I was hoping that he would not need any further cancer treatment... because I couldn't afford to pay for any more!
During Tensing's first chemo protocol, which I paid for entirely, I discovered the Magic Bullet Fund and became a volunteer. I have been working very hard to help Laurie build this incredible fund, so that many more dogs will be able to fight cancer.

Now, Tensing needs another round of the Madison Wisconsin protocol to get his lymphoma back into remission. I hope and pray that this time we will get a good strong remission and I will have Tensing here with me for a long time to come. When I learned that Tensing  would need another chemo protocol, I confessed to Laurie that I needed to ask for help. I didn't even know it, but in my volunteer work I had been paying it forward!
The Magic Bullet Fund has been the answer to my prayers. Laurie has been incredible every step of the way for me and all of the fund dog caretakers. She  answers every question and gives me her wealth of knowledge and support. I ask anyone who can to help my beloved boy by donating towards his treatments.

My funds are gone, but Tensing's will to live is far from over. Please help if you can!

*   I want to take this opportunity to thank Aloha Medicinals and AtlasWorldUSA for the supplements that they donated to the fund for Tensing.

I want to say a big thank to everyone who has donated money for Tensing treatment and I urge anyone reading this to buy a Brave Spirits 2008 Calendar.
