 WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?
For the first time ever, there were NO DOGS on the Funding Needed page for two weeks at the Magic Bullet Fund. By the time this newsletter reaches you, there may be new dogs on that page, so please take a peek. Thanks to the fund's wonderful sponsors, fundraising goals for all of the MBF dogs have been met and they will all be able to complete their treatments. Read more about them on the All Funds Raised page.

Thank you for supporting the Magic Bullet Fund's efforts. Thanks to all who helped
so many  beautiful MBF dogs survive cancer.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE
On May 31, 2009, Paws4Acure.org held its 2nd annual fundraising event. All proceeds are on their way here, to help the Magic Bullet Fund dogs. Founder Keri Goldman more than tripled last year’s success, and raised more than $10,000. Plans for disbursement of the funds are under discussion and will be posted on the Contributor’s page of the site once agreed upon. Thank you to Keri and to all of our contributors.

Every donation, large or small, gets a dog closer to the finish line!
SOY AND THE CANCER BATTLE
New studies by researchers at North Carolina State University are finding that the use of a special molecule in soy may provide a boost in the battle against cancer in canines. The hope is that this inexpensive supplement can help traditional chemotherapy treatments work more efficiently and faster. More information is available in the article from Science Daily here.

MEET YOUR MBF NEWSLETTER EDITOR
Editor picThe production of the MBF Newsletter is a volunteer effort, and I am that volunteer! I produce Let's Make Magic to keep you informed of newsworthy events "behind the scenes" at the Magic Bullet Fund. My name is Cindy and you can see a photo here of me and a previous assistant Brinkley. If you have any comments or questions for me about the newsletter, please write to me at MagicBulletFund.Cindy@gmail.com.

Cindy found her way to MBF
a year ago seeking a way to honor the recent loss of her beloved Gabriel after his arduous battle with cancer. Having lost three previous dogs to cancer, Cindy knows that the pain and the costs involved can be daunting if not unbearable. MBF offered a way for her to give back in the hopes that others can fight and win the battle of survival for their furry friends.
