From Alicia, March 3, 2008
My name is Alicia and my 10 year
old boxer mix, Mocha, has
been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and a mast cell tumor on her back
leg. For 10 years I was a sign language interpreter and as a second
job, I worked with autistic children in their homes. In 2001 I became
disabled.Three doctors have certified my Mocha as my therapy dog.
Mocha is what keeps me moving and motivated. She is my major
medication! I have had Mocha since she was just a plump little pup. The
thought of not being able to afford the care she needs is tearing me up
beyond words. She has always been here for me to give me the strengh I
need. She is adored by all humans and pets of all sizes. She is just a
lover!
I have started Mocha on the special
dog food the vet recommended. I am unable to keep doing this and
pay for the medicines and vet visits. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Alicia
