Everyone has a story about why they needed
or required help from the Magic Bullet Fund and this is ours. We live in Michigan. The economy here is
very, very bad. My husband Dave was laid off from a job that he
had with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in May of 2006. It took him almost 6
months to find another position and when he did it pays less then half
of what his last job did. Unfortunately our obligations were not cut in
half and we still have the same amount of bills to pay.
I have a small distributorship that I
started around the same time my husband lost his job. It has been slow
going due to the economy. To date, almost a year later, I still have
not
been able to cut myself a pay check from my business. I am considering
closing it and trying to get a full time job to try to make
ends meet.
It was during all of this family drama
that our wonderful dog Lacy was diagnosed with the cancerous tumor
on her leg. To make matters worse, my mother just had to under go
emergency bypass surgery.
If it was not for the help and support
that we have received from the Magic Bullet Fund, I do not know what we
would have done. Laurie and Phyllis have offered kind words of support
and had strong shoulders for us to lean on.
